And just like that, we are back for one last session of the summer!
After a summer already filled with camp memories, friendships, lake days, and plenty of fun, it was so special to welcome everyone back to Camp Asto Wamah for one final session of the summer.
We started the day by getting settled in and going over our camp rules and expectations before getting right into one of our favorite parts of camp: swimming in the lake! Campers headed down for a quick general swim, and it was the perfect way to kick off the session.
After working up an appetite, we headed to dinner for a true Asto Wamah classic: hot dogs, tater tots, baked beans, and brownies for dessert!
We ended our first day together with Medical Wars, another camp favorite. Campers and counselors came together for a lot of running, dodging, cheering, and, of course, plenty of laughs. It was so much fun to see everyone jumping right back into the camp spirit.
We’re so happy to have everyone back at Asto Wamah for one final session together and look forward to a great two weeks!
