Good morning and happy Monday everyone!

The sun was shining bright this morning which made wake up after a hard and long day yesterday just a bit easier. For breakfast we had waffles with peanut butter and syrup, and oranges of course. Then campers got on to getting ready to go back to classes today.

With the beautiful weather today everyone enjoyed their morning classes being out on the lake or up on the A-field. Crafters got to continue what they have been making or even start new projects for the second week. After some free time, we had chicken tenders and pasta salad for dinner. For dessert we had sherbet which was perfectly refreshing.

After rest hour everyone got in the water for general swim and enjoyed free swim before heading to 4th period. All around camp everyone enjoyed their class time in boating, sports, and arts and crafts. Archery and tennis started again today which always is a fun switch up from normal sports class.

For activity period today there were lots of fun activities! Campers could make friendship bracelets, get their hair braided, jump off the tower, and play Gaga ball! Afterwards we enjoyed grilled cheese and tomato soup for supper. Then, one of my favorite desserts, chocolate chip bars, for dessert. For evening program today we played Pirates! The green and white teams split up to find each other’s treasure, hidden somewhere around camp, all while engaging in pirate gang battles by throwing “guns”. These guns where little flour pouches from old dishee rags. The game ended with the white team winning but only by 1 point!! It was a great way to get out all our energy before heading to bed.

See you tomorrow!

With love from Wamah,
