Good morning!

Today we woke up chilly as the temps dropped below 60 last night. It was a perfect night to sleep and we enjoyed a 30 minute sleep in. The campers were super tired after an eventful weekend so extra sleep and chocolate chip bread for breakfast made everyone happy :)

Today was our Frog Island swim for our Level 6 swimmers and 14 year olds in Water Safety! This is a super cool opportunity for these campers to swim all the way across the lake to the a shallow area to explore the lake and test their swimming skills. After taking a small rock to remember their trip they swam back and got to sign their name in the Frog Island record book which dates back many many years.

After morning classes we had ravioli and salad for dinner. It was super warm and delicious meal for a slightly cool day today. We had butterscotch pudding for dessert and then headed to rest hour. The sun was still shining bright during general swim so everyone enjoyed their time and headed off to 4th period. We announced secret sister today so everyone had time to make a gift for their secret sister in arts and craft.

After lots of activity during activity period, such as jumping off the tower, gaga ball, taking out paddle boards and sunfish, everyone got ready for supper. We had tacos tonight with a newer dessert, sugar cookies. They were super delicious and a perfect end to the day.

Later for evening program was LT Carnival! This evening program is super special because all of the LTs from this session put together a carnival full of different games all based on a theme. This session’s theme was mermaids. All of the LTs put on a great skit and then had super fun stations. Campers enjoyed walking around going to Trident Fighting, Bubble Toss, Mermaid Makeover, Pin the Tail on the Mermaid and more!

We ended the night with popsicles and a few songs before heading off to bed.

With love from Wamah,
