Happy Tuesday!
We started the day off with our daily morning exercises, known as Chicken Fat before having lemon poppyseed bread and oranges for breakfast. Everyone then went back to their cabins for cabin cleanup and to get ready for the day.
Despite the cloudy weather, campers were excited to go out on the water during their boating classes this morning. In sports, campers participated in a variety of activities including a hula hooping competition, basketball and spike ball, and in Arts and Crafts, campers worked on the projects they started yesterday. During swimming classes, we played Scattergories due to the chilly weather.
Dinner today was ziti, a fan favorite, and dessert was vanilla pudding. After a relaxing rest hour, everyone went to the upper lodge for a fun game of Cabin Feud, camp’s version of Family Feud, as a rain storm passed through. Due to the weather, 4th period boaters played camp jeopardy and the sports class played games in the upper lodge.
Supper tonight was another camp favorite, chicken melts and dessert was chocolate cake.
For evening program tonight, we played Murder by Night. Campers were split up into groups and led by LTs to go around camp and interview the counselors about who “died” and what the weapon was. The campers all had a lot of fun trying to figure it out.
We are excited for a sunnier day tomorrow!
Logging off from the lodge,
Kyleigh
