Happy Tuesday!
We started the day with blueberry bread. Everyone cheerfully cleaned up their cabin and got ready for the day. This morning was our Frog Island swim for those in superstars or level 6 swimming. The swimmers got to swim all the way across the lake, take a rock back with them and sign their name in the Frog Island book.
Morning classes went smoothly and everyone was super excited for today’s dinner, ravioli and baguettes. We had sherbert and freeze pops for dessert before the campers grabbed store and headed back to their cabin for rest hour. We had an extended rest hour today before going in for general swim. During fourth period, the sailors took advantage of the windy weather while in sports, campers got to choose from a variety of activities on the a-field.
Supper tonight was tacos, and dessert was sugar cookies. For tonight’s evening program, it was LT carnival! The LTs put on a skit revealing the theme of the carnival as America’s 250 before introducing their stations. The campers had an awesome time and it was a great way to end the night!
It’s hard to believe we’re more than halfway through the session!
